A place that
remembers your name.
Moon Love Cafe started with a simple belief: the best meals happen when people feel safe enough to stay a while. We opened our doors on State Street with empty chairs and full hearts, determined to build a restaurant that Boston would want to return to.
Every morning, our kitchen team visits the waterfront and the farmer's market before the sun is fully up. That's how we know what's worth putting on the plate that day. Some days it's asparagus and white beans. Other days it's braised short rib over polenta. The menu writes itself — we just listen.
We're not fancy. We don't do white tablecloths or stiff service. What we do is make sure your coffee cup stays full, your server knows your order, and the person next to you feels like a friend by dessert.
